This lime is not sweet, as the name suggests, but almost completely devoid of acid making it rather insipid for adults. Children seem to love it however. It is said to be an excellent source of vitamin C.
The fruit is quite distinct, very round with a point at one end and smooth skin that ripens yellow like all limes in cool climates.
