Tahiti Lime
This is the lime you can buy in the shops. A seedless fruit on a prolific cropping plant, which if left on the tree will eventually turn yellow in cooler climates.
The leaves are very aromatic and can be used for cooking...just throw one or two into some rice whilst cooking and it will add and exotic twist to the meal.
This lime sets fruits well on young plants.
A great starter plant and essential in any Citrus collection.
A great alternative fruit for Gin and Tonics and excellent in Mexican beer of course!
