Star Ruby Pink Grapefruit. The pigmentation in Pink Grapefruit occurs when there are prolonged high temperatures. The best colour is achieved in climates like Florida where they are grown on a large commercial scale. Although we may not achieve the pink colour some years in England the flavour is still usually excellent. We have seen some very deep reds on the inside of "Star Ruby" fruit.

Wheeny Grapefruit. Named certainly not because of it size, but because it originated in Wheeny Creek, New South Wales, Australia. This large grapefruit is extremely juicy with a tart/sweet flavour. Very vigorous and needs lots of space.
